Scania acknowledges the driver as the single most important asset for economy, environment and safety. To emphasise this, Scania is arranging the world’s largest driver competition.
The competition focuses on increasing fuel efficiency, building awareness about road safety, and reducing the vehicle’s environmental impact. The only one who can contribute to all of these is the driver.
In Europe, the competition is known as Young European Truck Driver and is endorsed by the European Commission and the International Road Transport Union (IRU).
