The new product developed by Scania-Irizar has finally been unveiled. Following extensive trials and operations, the new i4 has achieved the green light and it’s ready to compete in the Irish market.

The sweeping curve of the dashboard presents ergonomically positioned controls. Unique features like pendant pedals use the correct leg muscles to make driving saver and more comfortable. A new pneumatically controlled adjustable steering wheel locks easily into position.

Better break lining wear control and braking assistance

Scania’s electronic braking system (EBS) ensures that brake linings wear evenly. This means fewer visits to the workshop because all brake linings can be changed at once. EBS also includes a function that optimises brake pressure in panic situations. The systems identify an emergency by evaluating the speed and distance of the pedal’s movement.
