Delivery of First Dark Diamond Scania to Ireland

David Williamson trading as DW Transport Sligo commenced business in 2006 with his first Scania tipper, R420.  In 2007 an additional Scania R480 was added to his fleet.  His operation covered the North West region serving the Construction Industry.  During this period he found the performance of the Scania vehicles to be both economical and reliable with excellent support from the Scania network of garages through out Ireland. 

Due to the downturn in the construction industry David made a business decision in 2008 to enter the distribution network, following a purchase from Cawley Commercials Ltd Sligo of his first tractor unit, 4 series 480 6 X 2 topline.  With increased business in 2009 an order was placed for the new R620 Dark Diamond to cater for increased National and International distribution.  The order was handled by Kevin Lennon at Cawley Commercials Ltd and again this has reassured David that he has made the correct choice of purchase.  The delivery of the vehicle exceeded all his expectations and he is looking forward to many years of association with the Scania Brand.
