Scania Ireland, and the Scania Dealer Network provide a full range of pre-sale & after-sales services for truck buyers. Scania dealer support starts at the purchase stage & follows through with support throughout the vehicle life.
Pre-Sale services include BUC (Build up calculations), which assist in ensuring optimum chassis & body matching. Information obtainable from BUC will assist in choosing the correct specification in terms of chassis lengths & axle weights.
In addition, comprehensive Body Work information is available to all customers & body builders. Scania's Optimising Programme (SCOP) in another tool that will assist in choosing optimum drive-line combinations, taking driving conditions, performance
requirements & weight constraints into account.
After-Sales Services provided by most Scania dealers include:
Maintenance contracts, for periods of two years & upwards.
Repair & maintenance contracts (pence/km), for the truck & ancilliary equipment; these are generally for periods of four years & upwards.
Full Contract Hire; Offering a fixed price per month, including vehicle repair & maintenance.
